Frequently asked questions
How do I get WCFK in my community?
Reach out to your local park and recreation or community education department, school, PTO, Scout Troop, or other organization and let them know you want WCFK programming for your child! We can run programs anywhere with adequate classroom space and comfortable facilities for children.
What grades do you serve?
We provide programming for K-5th grades. We do our best to keep classes and/or groups to a 3 grade range.
What is the cost of your programs?
Tuition varies from location to location based on added administrative fees. Please contact us for program pricing.
What kind of background do your staff have?
All of our staff are teachers, education or science majors, community volunteers, or have other experience with children in a formal or informal setting. We train and background check every teacher before they enter a classroom.
What is your staff to student ratio?
We strive to keep our ratio 1:10 or lower for our summer programs. After school programs have a 1:14 ratio.
Are WCFK classes suitable for all populations of students to attend?
We do our best to be inclusive for all our classes. Our main goal is to insure that all attendees are successful. We encourage anyone to call us to discuss the many options we can offer to create a positive learning environment for all kids.
How do I register my child for classes?
Please contact your local recreation department, PTO, or community organization directly! All of our programs are offered through our community partners and we do not take registrations ourselves.
