Barb co-founded WCFK in 2007 with Tim Rees. She has extensive experience in curriculum development and program management for elementary school programs. She has held positions as a middle school math and science teacher and as a science lab coordinator. She has also worked as an instructor at Boston’s Museum of Science. Barb has a Massachusetts Educator’s License in General Science, a Masters of Health Professions from the Bouve College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Minor in English from Merrimack College. She is a 2016 graduate of the Boston Emerging Leaders Program and is a member of both the Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers (MAST) and the National Science Teacher Association (NSTA). Cindy has been with Wicked Cool for Kids since 2008. Her responsibilities include research, ordering, inventory, and distribution of supplies for the various art, science and technology programs. She is married and has three grown daughters and three grandchildren. Cindy is an avid traveler and a huge Bruins fan.
Yahira started with WCFK in 2014 as a Materials Coordinator in the warehouse, helping to organize supplies and logistics for our teachers. She has an Associates Degree in Business Administration and in Graphic Design from Middlesex Community College and is completing her Bachelor's of Fine Arts from UMass Lowell. Jill started with WCFK in 2014 as a Materials Coordinator in the warehouse and is currently responsible for maintaining and supervising relationships with our partners at Triangle Inc. and the Nashoba Learning Group. Jill manages these community partnerships as well as coordinates and schedules supply deliveries for our teachers.
Stephanie began as an instructor with WCFK in 2018. She has extensive experience as a science teacher and as a teacher mentor. Tim was a senior education manager with extensive experience in program management and business development. A former foreign language teacher and ESL/EFL teacher in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the U.S., Tim also had several years of experience managing elementary educational programs throughout the U.S. Tim's educational background included a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts, a Diploma in TEFL from Christ Church College in Canterbury, England, and a B.A. in French from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
